The station is a registered charity and receives all of its money

It takes several thousand pounds
to keep Radio DGH on-air. These costs range from insurance to
repairs and upgrades to our studio equipment.
Our money is raisied in a number of ways, such as fundraising
initiatives and via the hire of our PA syatem.
We also get money from the sponsorship of our programmes and features,
such as the local news, weather and individual programmes. Sponsorship
is an inexpensive way of advertising a service or business, and
is a great way to lety people know about a service you provide,
whilst helping out a local charity at the same time. Due to the
nature of radio, it is often on it the background and does not
require a contant focus, which is needed for television and internet
marketing, but has the advantage that it is always listened to
despite it not being on contact 'view'.
We can offer sponsorship packages for individual shows or features
starting from £30 a year, to larger scale sponsorship for
around £400 per annum - there are no set amounts, and packages
can be personalised to your needs and / or budget.
